Restoration—to bring something back to an earlier and better condition. Objectives:CPR Ministries will develop a Church Restoration Plan that will address future concerns your church may encounter. Restoration for Churches Church Restoration Planning (CRP) is how the church prepares for future incidents that could jeopardize its core mission and long-term health. Church Restoration Planning involves: 1. Preparedness: In this phase spiritual leaders develop plans of action for when disaster strikes a church. 2. Response: The response phase includes assessing the situation and implementing immediate needs of the congregation. A prioritization process is followed whereby the risks with the greatest loss and the greatest probability of occurring are handled first, and risks with lower probability of occurrence and lower loss are handled in descending order. 3. Recovery: Recovery efforts are concerned with issues and decisions that must be made after immediate needs are addressed. Recovery efforts are primarily concerned with actions that involve rebuilding community, unity, forgiveness, establishing a positive presence, and developing a healthy church context. CPR Ministries is available to come alongside your church leadership in implementing a CRP package specifically tailored to your church situation.
