The Church in the US is facing a crisis; it is loosing its credibility.  A recent Lifeway survey of unchurched people revealed that 79 percent believe Christianity is more about organized religion than about loving God and loving people. Seventy-two percent said the church is full of hypocrites, and 85 percent believe they can have a relationship with God without being involved in church.

There are approximately 19,000 major, scarring church conflicts in the United States each year (an average of 50 per day). Youth between the ages of 18 - 22 are dropping out of church. One reason is that 26 percent of them see Church members as judgmental and hypocritical.

There is an unprecedented spiritual leadership crisis within the church. Pastors are leaving the ministry discouraged and disillusioned by the unrealistic expectations placed on them by membership.

The church has adopted over the decades a secular humanistic style of leadership and abandon the biblical role of leaders.  Richard & Henry Blackaby stated in Spiritual Leadership, the trend among Christian leaders is an almost indiscriminate and uncritical acceptance of secular leadership without measuring it against … Scripture

The culture has so affected the Church and clergy alike that it is necessary to begin a reformation based on Scripture rather than cultural trends throughout the decades.  The plum line for church and clergy is the Word of God rather than men.  Therefore, it is necessary for clergy and the Church to be “retrained.”  This site is dedicated to the retraining of both, as we develop a healthy church/clergy relationship that witnesses to the world that Christians are known by “how they love one another.”
